Plataforma de Car Sharing
We developed an application for Entel using the "carpooling" concept that allows sharing rides within the company.
Challenge
One of Entel´s customers is having problems managing its fleet of vehicles. In addition, their customers are facing a lot of duplicate trips. The challenge of this project is to develop an app that fits the client's needs and also integrates with Google Map and Tattersall.
Process
Magnet starts working on the app´s development according to Entel´srequests, ensuring that it offers the possibility to create new trips or join one already created to share it with other users. In order for the cars to be easily located, Google Maps services are integrated into the developed Car Sharing app.
Finally, the client requested the addition to the platform of the functionality of requiring more cars in cases of high demand, so we integrated the services of Tattersall (car rental services) were integrated into the project.
Results
We developed a web platform that allows the management and location of the different vehicles of the fleet, matching trips to users with similar routes. A powerful application is built, with the capabilities required by Entel and that satisfy the company's customer.
